Camp Highlights

• One-week, half-day camp for deaf and hard of hearing children, ages 7-14
• FREE to attend, thanks to the support of sponsors and donors. Limited spots, so it is on first-come, first-served basis
• Full IBCD uniform including hat, jersey shirt, pants & sOCks
• Free lunches, water/lemonade & snacks
• Professional coaching and former collegiate/high school players
• Attend Deaf Culture Night with the Iowa Cubs. Campers get FREE tickets. Family & friends welcome too.

• Support from the lowa Cubs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs
• Sign the national anthem on the field before the game and Take Me Out to the Ball Game during the seventh-inning stretch at Principal Park

lowa Baseball Camp for the Deaf is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, through Iowa Hands & Voices, committed to providing baseball experiences for deaf and hard-of-hearing children in the state of lowa. We aim to provide an instructive, safe and fun environment for the children to learn fundamental baseball skills in addition with fun activities. We are pleased to join lowa Hands & Voices and continue a tradition of teaching the Deaf youth the love of the game.
